Collision Avoidance Screening

The APIs hosted at space-safety.starlink.com provide a means for satellite operators to submit ephemeris files for screening against the Starlink constellation.

Screening results are available in minutes and can be ingested into Starlink's autonomous collision avoidance system.

Starlink states are updated in the system roughly every 30 minutes.

Maneuver Coordination

Starlink is developing experimental APIs for managing maneuver coordination between operators as part of a collaboration with NASA's Ames Research Center. Contact space-safety-onboarding@spacex.com for more information.
